  • Participate in project turnover and kickoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operations.
  • Mentor and train junior estimators and support the continued development of the estimating team.

  • Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate labor and material pricing.
  • Experience reviewing RFQs, RFPs, specifications, drawings, and bid packages.
  • Strong understanding of current labor rates, material pricing, and market conditions.
  • Experience with conceptual estimating and incomplete design documents is preferred.
  • Ability to identify project risks, scope gaps, and potential cost exposure during the estimating process.
  • Experience reviewing the work of other estimators and providing guidance or mentorship.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior estimating leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Software

  • Proficiency with Accubid estimating software.
  • Proficiency with LiveCount digital takeoff software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
