Construction Administrative Assistant

Hadco Construction is looking for a Construction Administrative Assistant to join our Small Commercial team in Lehi, Utah.

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. This position will support our estimating and project management team with contracts, billing, AP/AR, takeoffs, and general project administration.

Previous construction office experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who can stay organized, follow through, and help keep projects and paperwork moving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Help with project billing, invoices, and tracking outstanding items
• Assist estimators with basic takeoffs, quantities, and bid preparation
• Maintain organized project files and records
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams
• Track paperwork, deadlines, and follow up on outstanding items
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to estimators and project managers
• Help wherever needed to keep projects moving

What We're Looking For

• Previous administrative experience; construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience with AP/AR, invoicing, contracts, or similar responsibilities
• Comfortable working with numbers and learning basic construction takeoffs
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes

Experience with construction accounting, estimating software, or takeoffs is a plus, but not required.

Schedule: Part-time or full-time; schedule flexibility may be available for the right candidate Compensation: Depending on experience
